Sales Engineer – Bangalore

Job Title: Sales Engineer

  • Qualification: BSC (Elec) or BE Electrical and Electronics
  • Relevant Experience: 4 to 8 years in Electronics Industry

Purpose of the Role: Internal Sales Support that is to help the global sales organization to respond to global customer needs.  To support the head of sales with action tracking and the management of opportunities and actions.

 

Main Responsibilities / Critical tasks

  1. The answering in a timely manner customer documents including; MOU’s, NDA’s, RFI’s, RFP’s, Customer Pre-Audits and any other Customer Documents.
  2. The generation of Customer Proposals using standard templates and Quote Models.
  3. Attending key sales and customer meetings, conference calls and taking minutes and actions.
  4. The tracking and management of actions that arise from customer and internal meetings. This will utilise Office and Salesforce.com tools.
  5. The co-ordination and management of key sales projects.
  6. Working with sales leadership and global sales team to track Salesforce.com data and ensure up-to-date information.
  7. Production of Monthly and Weekly sales reports using Salesforce.com
  8. Organise Customer Meetings.

Candidate Profile:

  1. Basic knowledge of the Electronics Manufacturing Process (SMT, Back-End). Along with basic electronics technical knowledge.
  2. Excellent Excel, PowerPoint and Word (MS Office) knowledge
  3. Excellent written and oral communication skills in English (Ability to work with international customers)
  4. Ability to work under pressure and to difficult timescales
  5. Strong team working ability.
