Credit Assistant Manager – TN & AP

1. Credit Appraisal & Underwriting of SME-Retail.

2. Analyzing and Managing portfolio risk and maintaining portfolio health.

2: Duties & Responsibilities ( List in the order of importance the duties & responsibilities of this job)

  • Verifying and scrutinizing all the document execution as per login checklist.
  • Calculating Eligibility of the cases.
  • Study of file before PD with customer and noting down all the queries/clarifications as per case.
  • Doing PD with customer at all locations in cluster.
  • Underwriting the case sanction in Polaris after initial entry by CPA.
  • Coordination with Legal and Technical Vendors in clearing the queries.
  • Coordination with Astute in clearing FI cases.
  • Regular visit to all vendors: Legal, Technical and FI agency atleast once on monthly basis to review the TAT, process implemented and resolving issues if any. Also keep themselves updated about the market practice and what other financial institutions are practicing for the same region.
  • Property & Machinery visit in all SBL & Machinery cases to verify the Asset.
  • Monitoring all the activities of CPA like EMI Calling, CERSAI execution and ROC creations.
  • Underwriting the Post Approval document execution which is prepared by CPA
  • Underwriting of Disbursement in POLARIS.
  • Clearing Queries in disbursement raised by R.O
  • Recruitment and Training of all CPA’s in their clusters.
  • Regular visit once in a qtr for Asset verification.
  • PDD Monitoring.
  • Collection visits and follow ups to recover the loan amount and also to understand the credit appraisal method after the learnings from delinquent cases.
  • Regular review of portfolio in their clusters to understand the gaps in policy, process and any other issues and accordingly suggest changes for same
  • Maintaining the TAT for complete proposal from Login to Disbursement
  • Ensuring the adherence to the policy norms. Maintain minimum deviation level. Verification of deviation approval from the appropriate authority as per policy documents.
  • Monitoring & maintaining portfolio health on a continuous basis, whether any hub/spoke/pocket/segment/usage/asset/customer grade is showing a stressed portfolio and hence suggesting corrective action.
  • Responsible for quality of assets for certain period of performance.
  • Monitoring the Early Delinquent & Non starter & keeping it within the company set limits. To prepare a critical observation note by visiting to early delinquency and non starter customers.
  • Monitoring the PDDE updation and compliance.
  • Ensuring the post sanction compliance before disbursement.
  • Ensuring the statutory compliance, if any applicable like creating charges etc.
  • Periodic asset verification.
  • Conducting training and feedback periodically to the sales team members
  • Coordinate and supervise service levels of external vendors

Competencies

Professional Qualification 

  • Com/MBA finance.
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in SME/LAP credit appraisal field.
