Job Title                      : Converting In Charge

Reporting to                : Plant Manager

Interface with              : In-charge Board line/printing, Finance Manager, General Manager, Marketing Manager, Human Resource & Others.

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

 

  1. Over all in-charge of Printing and converting machines.
  2. Responsible for preparing daily programme for printing and converting machines to the optimum utilization of the resources.
  3. Seeking advices from Plant Manager whenever and whatever required. Participate in regular meeting with Plant Manager and Board Line in charge.
  4. Responsible for maintenance and cleaning of the machines of the printing and converting machines.
  5. Coordination with the maintenance department to ensure smooth operations and timely actions for maintenance of the machines.
  6. Ensuring the best output with minimum wastages at printing and converting sections.
  7. Responsible for maintaining and improving further the quality parameters in his area of operations.
  8. Programming and maintaining minimum stock levels of all consumables in his area with coordination of his immediate officer and purchase section.
  9. Responsible for checking art works / film development and stereo plate processing.
  10. Responsible for new sample developments and proper custody of existing samples and art works.
  11. Supposed to be familiar with machine health and safety procedures.
  12. Should have ability to inspire and motivating fellow workers in adopting and accepting safety and cleanliness as part of their routine working culture.
  13. Ensure adoption / implementation of QMS ISO 9001:2008 / OHAS 18001:2007 procedures in his area of command in coordination with Quality Controller.
  14. Responsible for answering any question from the marketing department related printing and conversion. Checking timely e-mail box and keeping his records updated.
  15. Coordination with Finished Goods stores in charge.
