AGM/DGM – Plant Head – Dhule (Maharashtra)

Designation     : AGM/DGM – Plant Head

Qualifications : B.Tech/B.E.

Experience      : 15 to 20 years

Key Responsibilities of the Role:

  1. Plan, Monitor & Control

–          Participate in preparing the BU plan

–          Communicating the Business Plan to respective Departments and seeking their targets for delivery of Business Plan

–          Review and monitor Manufacturing Targets and Identifying GAPS

–          Review and initiate actions with Operational/Functional heads to close the GAPS

–          Ensuring Administrative/Corporate support to the operational and functional heads for plant operations.

–          Organize and ensure resources to achieve targets and alignment with business Plans

  1. Manpower Management

–          Set performance goals, review and provide feedback to leadership team

–          Identify training & developmental needs for operations team and ensure training

–          Develop and deploy skill matrix for operatives to build capability

–          Develop mechanism to maintain harmonious industrial relations IN ORDER TO attract, retain & develop operational skills to meet current and future organization objectives

  1. Quality Control

–           Direct  and implement quality systems strategy for the team to ensure effectiveness of ISO 9001-2000 Quality management Implement quality process & system

–          Study and understand the customer quality requirements

–          Define and monitor deployment of the quality process including norms & specifications of raw materials, in process, & finish goods

–          Develop & implement customer complaint resolution system

–          Conduct quality review meeting and track the corrective actions IN ORDER TO ensure product quality

  1. Safety Compliance

–          Planning and execution of effective health and safety measure to ensure safe work environment through

–          Incident investigation and CA/PA

–          Awareness of safety.

–          Suggestion/feedback on effectiveness of safety measures during safety committee meeting.

–          Ensure compliance for storage & disposal of scrap.

  1. Inventory control

–          Monitor and control of non-moving and slow moving items to avoid material ageing.

–          Coordination with PPC for exploring possibility to transfer to other plant. Analysis of PR/PO.

  1. Finance & Accounts Management

–           Ensuring a culture of Cost Reduction with aim at improving efficiency.

–           Closely monitor Opex and take appropriate measures in controlling it.
